Minor Pentatonic

The first position of the Minor Pentatonic is for sure THE scale, which will help you through most blues tunes.

The white dots show you the root (Ex.= 3. fret = G) - and the scale works in every key.
So that´s the reason to at least learn ALL the notes on the low E-string.

The following example shows a small idea how to use this scale over a complete 12-bar Blues-Progression:

Play this shuffle in a laidback middle tempo and use a clean and warm sound.

Intermediate players can throw in the chords in the space of the rests in the first five bars on 1 and 3. -
The example also works over a Dom7-progression; which means instead of the 6, 9 or 7# 9 just play the Dom7-chord.
